1. Agreement and eligibility
By accessing PageToLink, browsing published sites, or uploading and publishing website files, you enter into a binding agreement with PageToLink and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must possess the legal capacity to form a contract in your jurisdiction and adhere to all local laws and international regulations applicable to your use of the service.
2. The service and availability
PageToLink provides automated, temporary web hosting for client-side static files (HTML, CSS, client-side JavaScript, and associated assets). The service is supplied on an “as is” and “as available” basis:
- No uptime guarantees: We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously accessible hosting.
- No permanent persistence: Files are stored temporarily and scheduled for automatic deletion upon expiration.
- Service evolution: We reserve the right to modify, rate-limit, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without liability.
3. Your content and responsibilities
You retain full intellectual property ownership of the files you upload. In exchange, you grant PageToLink the technical license required solely to host, serve, cache, and transmit your files to web visitors requesting your link.
Everything published is public
Every published site generates a public URL (https://<id>.pagetolink.com/). Do not upload passwords, API credentials, sensitive personal identification, or unredacted proprietary source files.
You represent and warrant that you hold all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to publish any content, imagery, font, or script contained in your upload.
4. Prohibited use and immediate takedown
You agree not to use PageToLink directly or indirectly for:
- Malicious software: Distributing viruses, spyware, ransomware, trojans, or exploit payloads.
- Phishing & fraud: Hosting deceptive landing pages designed to harvest credentials, banking details, or mimic external services.
- Harassment & exploitation: Publishing defamatory, hateful, abusive material, or child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Platform evasion: Scripting bot uploads, exploiting storage bypasses, evading rate limits, or bypassing security checks (Cloudflare Turnstile).
- Illegal distribution: Sharing pirated media or infringing copyright/trademark rights.
We actively cooperate with abuse reports and law enforcement and reserve the right to delete violating sites and terminate accounts immediately without prior notification.
5. Deletion and zero recovery
Published materials are queued for unrecoverable disk deletion (fs.rm) upon any of the following triggers:
- Automatic expiration based on the selected lifetime (24 hours, 72 hours, or 7 days), as updated by any permitted owner-verified extensions. Extensions add 24 hours or 3 days and cannot place expiry more than 7 days into the future.
- Manual site deletion by the account owner via the Dashboard.
- Emergency maintenance, disk integrity enforcement, or security intervention.
PageToLink maintains no backup recovery pipelines. Once deleted or expired, your site cannot be restored.
6. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted under governing law, PageToLink disclaims all warranties—whether express, implied, or statutory—including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, security, and data preservation.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither PageToLink nor its operators, affiliates, or licensors will be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential damages—including loss of profits, data, content, revenue, goodwill, or business interruption.
In all instances, our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to your use of PageToLink will not exceed the amount you actually paid to us in the preceding twelve (12) months, or $0.00 USD if you used the service free of charge.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend PageToLink and its operators against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable legal costs resulting from your content, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
9. Modifications and governing law
We may update these terms periodically. Continued access to the service following the posted revision date constitutes acceptance of the amended terms. If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the balance of these terms remains in full legal force.
